Day 1 begins with a burst of energy as spectacular cultural floats, marching contingents, and traditional folk dancers rhythmically move down Market Street for the West Coast's largest Filipino parade. The party then moves into the scenic lawns of Yerba Buena Gardens, transforming the space into a bustling cultural hub. Visitors can sample legendary culinary staples from local food booths, explore deep heritage roots across specialized art pavilions, and enjoy an extensive lineup of live vocalists, martial arts showcases, and world-class performances on the main stage.
