About this event
Dust off your dancing shoes for a vibrant evening under the San Francisco sky as Yerba Buena Salsa Nights honors legendary Uruguayan percussionist Edgardo Cambón. Marking an incredible 40-year milestone of performing in the Bay Area, Cambón and his band Candela take the stage alongside a spectacular lineup of special musical guests. Expect an electrifying repertoire spanning classic salsa arrangements, original tracks from his five albums, and rich rhythms including cumbia, bachata, and rare Afro-Uruguayan candombe. Arrive early at 5:30 PM to catch a complimentary beginner-friendly dance workshop with Rueda Con Ritmo before the live music kicks off.
