When you subscribe to our newsletter or submit an event or hidden gem, we collect the information you provide — typically your email address and, optionally, your name. We also collect basic, anonymized usage analytics to improve the site.

We use your email to send you the weekly newsletter and, where you request it, transactional messages (such as confirmations or password resets). We do not sell your personal information.

Every newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Unsubscribing from marketing email does not stop essential transactional messages you specifically request. We send email through Resend, our email delivery provider.

We use minimal cookies and privacy-respecting analytics to understand what content is useful. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing mike@sfbayweekend.com.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
