About this event
Festival Fright Nights takes over the entire Winchester estate rather than running a single haunted house. The framing is 1926, the year after Sarah Winchester's death, with four festival zones and thirteen attractions spread across the grounds — and unusually, the haunts themselves are staged inside the real mansion. Three haunted attractions are included with every ticket. The Root of All Evil is set in the greenhouse, where something ancient has been feeding on the estate since long before Sarah Winchester arrived. The Final Descent: No Escape puts you in a house that has fully surrendered. House of Spirits, new for 2026, follows her butler trying to contain what's loose in the halls with a set of ghost traps and not much else. If being chased isn't your idea of a night out, Harry Houdini Presents "Do Spirits Exist?" is a seated theatrical séance — the famous skeptic taking on the supernatural inside the Winchester house. It's included with VIP admission or available as an upgrade. Worth understanding before you book: the festival format means your ticket doesn't cover everything. The three haunts are included with all admission types, but the Underhouse and the Séance Society Speakeasy come with VIP or as add-ons, and the games — axe throwing, a vintage shooting gallery, a pumpkin toss, and a fire pit where you roast your own s'mores — carry additional fees. Platinum VIP bundles unlimited entry to all three haunts, half the general admission wait, and access to everything above. Select nights only, September 18 through November 1. Tickets are online exclusively.
